WELLINGTON, May 14 The Management Committee of the New Zealand Tennis Association met Vo-day, Mr F. M. B Fisher presiding Hawke's Bay Association forwarded a copy of a letter 1 from [ Hastin.gs Club asking for informatiiion as to 1912 New Zealand Championships proposed to be played in Hawke's Bay. It was referred to a sub committee, consisting of :he Chairman and Mr Murley. The quarterly meeitiag .of the Council has been called for Thursday, May 30th. The. committee decided to adopc ' the AyTes championship ball for the 1912 New Zealand Chiam-pionship subject V.O satisfactory arrangements being made as to* placing indent orders. The Australasian Association advised that the Buckley Cup Competition would be held in Sydney on August 3rd and sth next and rhat negotiations were scill. tbeing carried on w-ith the object of securing a tour of Australasia of an English team. Melbourne has been selected as. the place to be suggested to challenging nations for playing the chalenge rounds of the Davis Cup 1912.
