LONDON, Jan. 20. The Welsh miners' delegates strongly opposed peace overtures. The" English delegates bitterly complained that the Sou'Mi Wales denied that the. minimum wage was eight shillings, claiming that it was unfair to ask the xe'sV of the miners to fight for that! Wie'y .Hvlere not asking; for . themselves. The Welshmen refused to amend their demand and the conference was adjourned till '.he lstl February.
