Letters received recently from LieuFrench discount the theories of Suicide or a desire to. escape. He did not complain of his 'treatment, but severely criticised Captain Lux .forescaping when he perfectly understood that lenient treatment was conditional on T-he prisoners not attempting -fco escape.
