- ' PERTH, Dec. 15. ThY Treasurer's financial statement states that tto dry season in the eastern agricultural districts necessitated extra expenditure for water supply and prevented the Government collectiing- the conditional purchase rents amounting to £22,000. The (revenue for the past year was £3,850,440 and the expenditure £3,734,000,. After wiping out -hte deficit with which the year opened, a balance of £13,000 remained- Tiie estimate for n.-.vt yeat was a deficit . of £104,420. It was intendGd to introduce a graduated land tax and income tax.
