Mrs. Mounsey, a widow, 74 years of aigc, dkxl suddenly this imoming, and at the inquest, the coroner recorded a verdict that deceased died' of heart failure.

A man named Burneclc, alias Pearse, wiio at tha jus^ concluded session of the Supreme Court was sentenced to two years imprisonimietnt a.nd four .years reformative treatment and whoi cscapad from gaol on Wednesday was recaptured -on Saturday eveninig in the vicinity of Waerengaakuri 27 milos from Gislborne.
