The yarding of sto:« sheep showed a considerable decrease in numbers compared with recent sales, and few buyers were present. Wethers formed the! chief part of tho entry, and included several •oversea -lines. There was a limited demand on account of the roug-h weathe: 1 , and pvicos" showed little or no changre. Forward oversea wethers made 15s Id to 15s 6d, smaller 12s 3d, small two-tooth haifbred wethers 12s 10d, two-tooth three-quarterbred wethers. 15s 8d to 15s 10d, half bred wethws (-passed) 15s 6d, aged ewes with lambs 8s 2d, all counted.
