Mr H.. L; Michel addressed the electors at Stilhvater on Tuesday evening, wheji there was a lairge gathering, Mr W. E. Church was in the chair. The candidate met with a good reception, and tho usual vote of thanks, on the motion of Mr J. Mo.'iarty, \va occorded him.

DOBSON.

Afterwards at ti p.m^ Mr Michel addressed the electors at Dobso,n. Theife was an exoellenti attendance, de;spitc the unfavourable weather. Mr Buchanan was in the chair. '• he candidate again met with an Itjil reception> amd^ on the motion of Mr Smeaton, a vote of thainks was accorded him. A lai^ffe committee was formed, who worn to meet the foil-owing night for the purpose of electing officers.

MIUARA.

On Wednesday night Mr Michel addressed the electors at Ahaura.. The meeting was the largest that has taken place there for ye.ars. Mi" James White, J.P., was in tho chair. The candidate received an excellent hearing, and at. the conclusion of his address ii vote of thanks was accorded him with ' acclamation. Subsequently :x large committee was formed for the purpose of furthering his interests in the forthcoming election. Mr W. Clayton being appointed chairman, and Mr A. Brooks, s-ecretaiy..

KOKATAH?

A meeting of supporters of Mr H. L. Michel was held at Kokatahi on Saturday evening fw the pui'pose of forming a committioo to secure his return to Parliament at the coming election. Despite the unfavourable \veathen, there was -an (excellent attendance. A committee of 07 was form-ted, Mr T. O'Neill ■being 1 appointed chairman, and Mr 11.. A. Bodding"ton secretary. A ladies' committee was also formed, Mrs O'Br-ien being appointed chairwoman, and Miss Balri secretary.
