NEW . PLYMOUTH. Sep:. 21. - The Supreme Court to-day heard th.T claim of William Humphries against the Westport Coal Company few damages for injuries sustained by being knocked clown a.nd run over by one of the company's carts, thereby sustaining permanent injuries. The rase lasted all day, a mass of evidence was taken, but the jury found no negligence on the part of the company's driver and found for defendant. Mr Jellicoo appealed for .plaintiff and Mr. Herdman for the defence.
