HOSPITAL AND CHARITABLE AID BOARD.

THE ELECTION. THE RESULTS.

The election :for six persons to comprise the Hospital and Charitable Aid Board was held in the Borough of Cfreymouth yesterday. There was not very much interest taken in the election, and the poll was small. A large number assembled to hear the result of the poll and at 9.30 o'clock it was declared as. follows:— '

NELSON, March 16 The Hospital arid Charitable Aid Board election was held to-day and resulted in Messrs Field; Lock, and Mesdames FeHaßd Watson being elected to represent the" contributing: district of Nelson and Richmond. - Very .little interest was taken., only between, six arid seven hundred votirig out of 3671 on the roll. CHRISTCHUROH, March 16 The election of seven persons to represent the City on the Hospital and Charitable Aid Board resulted in three ladies (Mesdames Cunnington, WiJsqri, and'Ensom), arid Messsr Allison, Tiwner, R^v. Closs and Gapes being elected. Messrs Allison and Gapes «rere the only old members elected.
