Suffice to say every item was highly appreciated, the various pericraners havdng to respond to undeniable encores. The performance or th ©whole was a brilliant, artistic and financial success. During the interval the president of the Trustees (Mr C. E.Evendon) suitably thanked the club 1 for their kindness in assisttingf~such a deserving institution, and . moved that a hearty vote of thanks ibe accord ed them, which was carried by aic clamiaitioißL. Mr Ashton, on behalf of the Bohemians, suitably responded to the pnesSdenit's remarks in- doing so stated that- societies, such as the one that had eniter^ne€;^elm'-*to-nigtbt^ needed funds bocasiohaliy," and he" felt confiderit that if ever they needed to ap-peal-to a Kumara -audience, they would begiteeited with ; an audience similar to that present to-night. I was nearly forgetting to mention the orchestra" which was under the •direction! of Mx Shearmani and consists of piano, violin and cornet, the strains from which materially assisted towards .the success of the entertainment. The funeral of the late Mr M. O'J Donhell took place yesterday afternoon .The cortege moved from St. Patrick's CihiuTch at 2.30 *hei Temiladns be:n>g followed to the cemetery by numerous friends. The pallibearers being four .of the deceased's mates from Dunollie ,The Rev Father Creed officiated at the Church and grave.'
