FIRST SHIPMENT OF COAL.
WESTPORT, Dec 9. By the V 3 Kaiapoi to-morrow the first consignment of Wes.tport-Stockton screened coal is being shipped for LytteTton. In appearance it is similar to .the best CoalbrookdaJe coal. The mine is now in full working order, producing coal freely and with orders well ahead of supply.
