WEATHER FORECAST.
WELLINGTON, Dec 9 The following is Captain Edwin's forecast to 3 p. m to-morrow: "«Gale from the northward in most parts of the country soon and falling barometer, but wind changing to the south and west at places, southwards of Timaru and Queenstown : after 10 hours, with rising barometer. There are indications for heavy rain throughout the dominion.
