Owing to the Compositors and Printers Union's striking- in obedience ■to orders by the Labour "Confederation many Paris papers are not appearing to-day Several other ' trades . struck. The Socialist Committee accuse the Government of murdering the workers. The chief organ of 'the Confederation publishes a cartoon of M. Clemenceaiu's head on a pike, under the title I'assassin. There are many wild appeals to resort to violence, tout the general community urges the Government to vigorously defend the law and order. -
