(Our Correspondent) Mr A. R. Guinness M.P., attended at the Runanga School on Thursday afternoon and presented 20 valuable prizes- for good attendance for 1907Mr.J, Ward, Chairman of the Committee, in introducing Mr Guinness to .M)e school referred in complimentarr terms to ; the good Offices performed towards 'school by Mr : Guinness, -and -related the hrslory of the contest that was instituted by him. the first morning ,th c school was opened. .'Mr Guinness in presenting the prizes referred to the great importance of regular attendance at schooKind obedi encc-to the teachers -on behalf of the .scholars. iHe was pleased to see so maiiy pleasant faces "to greet him.
