THE SHIPPING CO PANIES
SIDNEY, Feb. 28. Speaking at the luncheon on board the new steamer Fulimaroa, Mr Appleton, director of the Uuddart Parker Company, said they heard some talk of a combination of gripping companies. Certainly there were agreements between the. other companies, but these relate between the other companies, but these related purely to regulations to fares and freights. No written bond between all shipping companies existed.
