LONDON, June 22 Discussing the postal vote in the House of Commons, Mr ~ Henniker Heaton disputed Mr Buxtons estimate of the initial cost to the department of the adoption of universal penny postage which "was that it would be £500,---000 a year. He believed. it would not exceed £i2o;ooo. THE INCOME TAX.
" The House of Lords passed the Financial Bill after Mr Gbscheh had condemned the impolicy and injustice of not reducing the income" tax.
