CHRISTCHURCH, June 22 As the outcome of a recent meet- ' ing of the labor leaders of the differ- 1 ent centres in this -city a body has 1 been formed called the New i Zealand Workers' Political Association to advance the social, economic and political interests of the workers of New .Zealand. The platform includes— con ■stitutional and land laws reform (including an elective executive and the more vigorous -application of the lands for settlement policy) State man agement of numerous enterprises (including State ferry service between North and South Islands and between Onehunga and New Plymouth) and the extension of the old age pensions. Mr J. Barr, of this city was elected president.
