McLean, Mr Greening, Mr Cross, Mr -Sundall and Mr Combes are passengers overland from Christchurch ard arrive by the Otira~train this afternoon> The engagement is announced of Miss Fqgrd to, Mr J7 Fa\vl§ both of this town. Miss Foord leaves for her home on Monday. Mrs Walter Bull, a very~ old and well-known resident of Westport, died i in that town on Wednesday.
