Cobden School Committee
Tlie election of a school committee for Cobden created a great deal of interest, and the schoolroom, was packed to the dooTB last evening. Mr Poulter occupied ■ the chair. The following is the result of the election.
The first seven were declared elected. 'At a meeting afterwards' held Mr D. Mc- • Leod was elected chairman and Mr A. P. Harper Beoretary and treasurer.
