Cycling Meeting.
(PER Pr.EflP ASSOCIATION) CHRISTC H OROH. Dec. 16. A meeting of the N.Z. Wheel Race, meeting under the auspices of the Christs church Cycling Club was he,ld at Lancaster Park this afternoon. Despite the fact that there were no Important stars competing there was a good attendance of the public, and the, gate takings were very satisfactory. A professional run" ning match for seventy five pounds stake between C. J. Morris (Australia), and "W. Black a well-known N.Z. runner over three distances, viz. — seventy.«five, one hundred, and one hundred and fifty yards resulted in a win for Morris who easily prevailed in the last twoclistanccr.
