LORD HAWKE'S TOUR.

Following are the results to date of matches played by Lord Hawke's team in the colony : — Auckland (11 a-side) — Won by an innings and 129 runs. Englishmen, 321 ; Auckland, 120 and 72. South Taranaki (the local teum fielded 15 and batted 18)— Won by nine wickets. Englishmen 157 and 30 for one wicket ; South Taranaki, 146 and 38. ' North Taranaki (same conditions as in previous match) — Won by an j innings and 103 runs. Englishmen, ' 3;20 ; North Taranaki, 86 and 131. ■■■■ Wanganui (against 15) — Won by eight wickets. Englishmen, 140 and 59 for three wickets ; Wanganui, 120 j and 77. Manawatu (against 18) — Won by an ! innings and 130 runs. Englishmen, 307 for eight wickets ; Manawatu, 105 and 72. , . Hawke's Bay"(the local team fielded 11 and batted 15) — Won by an innings and 198 runs. Englishmen, 461 ; Hawkes Bay, 106 and 157. Wellington (11 a-side) — Won byi ten wickets. Wellington, 243 and 140 ; Englishmen, 289 and 97 for no wickets. Wairarapa (the local team fielded 18 and batted 22) — Won by an innings and 91 runs. Wairarapa, 205 and 119; England, 405. . ; FIXTURES. The following is the re-arranged programme of Lord Hawke's team : — January 30 and 31 and February 2, Westland, at Greymouth. February 9th, 10th, 11th, Canterbury match, afc Christchurch. il3th, 14th, 16th, match against Otago. 18th and 19th 3 match against Southland. 21st, 23rd, 24th, match against South Island at Dunedin. 26th and 27th, match against South Canterbury. February 28th and March 2nd and 3rd, mutch against New Zealand, at Christchurch. March 4th, Oth, 6th, match against New Zealand at Wellington. The team will leave for Sydney on Friday evening, 6'h March, arrive in Sydney on the 11th, and in Melbourne on the 12th. On the 13th, 14th, 16th, and 17th a match will be played against Victoria ; and the final match of the four — against New South Wales — will be plaj'ed in Sydney on the 20th, 21st, and 23rd. On Monday evening, the 23rd March, the team will leave Sydney by the Miowera for Vancouver, via Brisbane, on their return to the Old Country.
