A Murder Sentence Quashed
Attributed to the Mafia (PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.) (BY ELECTRIC TELEGRAPH—COPYRIGHT. (Received at 11 45 \> m.) Rome, Jan 29. The Court of Cassation quashed the sentence on Sunor Palizzoto, exDeputy of the Chamber, who in July last was sentenced at Bologna to 30 ye<rs'imp isomnent for the murder of Signor Notarbartola, formerly Mayor of Palermo, and ordered a retrial at Florence. The murder is attributed to the Mafia Society, whereof Palizzolo was a member.
