PURSUANT to " The Mining Act, 1898," the undersigned, James Hargreaves of Ahaura, mining agent, kereby applies for a license for a claim as specified in the schedule hereto, in respect of the land therein referred to, which has oeon duly marked out for the purpose. Locality where land is situated with its boundaries, measurements and area — All that piece or parcel ot Jand, containing 63 acres situate in Ahaura river, commencing at a point at sonth side of Aluura river above and adjoining Special Dredging Claim, section 40, Ahaura survey district, thence up south side of said rirer a distance of about 1 mile, thence over said river to its north side a distance of abuut 10 chains, thence down notch side of river a distance of about 1 tnile, theuce over said river to its south side 6 chains to point of commencement, .-same being 69, Block I, Ahaura survey district. ■ Remarks— The special claim applied for has been surveyed and marked out as surveyed. Application is made to use the plans of such survey for the purposes of this application. Signature of applicant — James Hargreaves. Precise time of filing of the foregoing application— 27/1/03, at 2 15 pm.
