Woolford, Digby Grand, and the Yeomans were today charged with murdering Long. A witness jjave sensational evidence in reference to con vernations amongst the accuse J and a fourth man who has not been arres r eJ, whereat arrangements were made for a number of burglaries, including the hotel where Long was murder- d, and utililising a racing mare for conveying tne spoil. Witnets alleged that he was asked to take a hand in the burglaries, but declined. The evidence was not finished. The police seized the racing ware and ascertained that the owners lent her to Grant's companion on the night of the murder. Digby Grand is a notorious o iminal and was remanded to day in connection with the recent burglary at Paddmgton.
