TAK-E : NOTICE that, pursuant to "The Mining Act, 1898," and regulations thereunder, We OLOF MAGNUS, of Aelxander South, dredge owner ; Thomas Montresor Baldwin, of Dunedin, importer'; and John Byrne, of Paroa, hotelkeeper, have duly marked out the piece of land described in the schedule hereto (rough sketch plan whereof is lodged herewith), and intend to make application for^ the issue to us of a License in reipect thoreof for a Special Claim, particulars whereof are set forth in the said Schedule, : The address for service is— At the office of Guinness and Kitchingham, solicitors, Greymouth. All that parcel of land, containing by estimation 100 acres (more or less) situate at Paroa, commencing at a point approximately 2 chains north-east of the Paroa- railway bridge, running thence easterly a distance of about 13i chains, running thence southerly and easterly a distance of about 80 chains, thence southerly a distance of about 2 chains, thence north-westerly a distance of about 36 chains, thence westerly a distance of about 13 chains, thence northerly a distance of about 70 chains to the point of commencement as shown on plan herewith. It is proposed to work the claim applied for by means of dredging. The aforegoing application, and all objections thereto, will be heard by the Warden at the Courthouse, Greymouth, on MONDAY, the 10th day 6\ JULY, 1899, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon.
