Wellington, May 31. The following have been appointed to the position of superintendents of Mercantile Marina and Examiners of Masters and Mates at the principal ports : — Captain Smith, of the Omaperc, at Wellington, . Captain Fleming, of bhe Flora, at Dunedin. '
Captain Marciel at Lytteltoh. W D Reid, chief officer of the Hauroto, at Auckland. The salary is L2SQ per annum.
