Mails for United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, U S A, Canada via San Francisco, close here on Tuesday, 9th May, at 9 am. Registered letters at 5 pm; money orders at 4 p m on Bth May. Mails for Capetown close at Melbourne, per Australasian, on 10th prox. A late fee posting box is now attached to the guard's van, Jackson and Hokitika train. Letters mast bear the extra Id kfcs fee. A similar box will shortly be placed on the Reef ton train.
