(PER PRESS ASSOCIATION.) , . New Piymohth, May 29. Payable pe:roleum has beoa atruck at the breakwater. The oil expert reports thitt he obtained 160 gallons of the finest quality on Tuesday and 80 gallons this morning, when he tad to stop pumping, Mhe had no move barrels to fill. The only drawback' Is that seawater comes into the well and prevents the oil flowing as it should. A new bore will be commenced som.o distance inland in about 14 days, in order to avoid the sea water. The pn-sant bore ia only about 100 yards from high vra'er mark. A large company will ba floated in Sydney to put down a considerably number of bores. The expert will take 30 barrels of oil with him to Sydney on Saturday next. ••■ ■
