Christmas Day and New Year'a Day — A close holiday will be observed Id the Postal Branch. All mafia usually despatched on ttrnse days will be closed on Saturday, 23rd and 30th inst, at 8 p m. The Chrlatchurch overland mails on 25th inst and lat prox, will close at 10 p m. The ontward 'Frisco mail will be closed at i 10 p m on 25th tnat. Boxing Day— The office will be opened lo all branches between 9am and 10 a m. The ÜBnal despatch of malls will be made up to 10 a m on the 26tb, 27th, and 29th. Mails usually despatched by the 4 20 ' p m train will be closed on the 26th at 10 8m; od the 27th at 7 45 a m and on the 29th at 6 35 a m. TELEGB.IFH OFFICE. j Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New | Year's Day— The Telegraph Office will be open from 9a m to 10 am, also 7pna to 8 pm. , TELEPHONE EXCHANGE. Christmas Day—The Telephone Exchange will be open from 9 a m to 10 a in only. Boxing Day and New Year'a Day — The Telephone Exchange will remain opea as nanal.
