A line has been fixed from the Elginshire to the shore, but no attempt will be made to land wool until an attempt ba3 been made with ttuea steamera to tow her off. If it be a failure she will be lightened before trying again. There has been no communication with the vessel, and there is no information as t j her condition. March 11. Two tuga pulled at the Elginshire for two hours on last night's tide, but made no impression, the line being again carried away, but not till the tide had gone down. This morning four Burf boats were tiken down to fetch up the wool, which will take two days. The weather is fine and a moderate swell. The captain still holds for the owners. Later.
