(Received February 12, at 10 20 a m.) Sydney, February 12. As the representatives of Western Australia to the Federal Convention will be unable to attend until a week after the date fixed for the opening, the Government of that colony has aßked that the Convention should be postponed, but the request is not 1 kely to be granted. The Tasmanlan Government favors postponing, but the other colonies are prepared to adhere to the original date.
