The Brunner Coal Company's s a Maori arrived from Wellington early yesterday morning, and sailed for Picton and Wellington durng the day with a cargo of coal and coke. At the meeting of the Bluff Harbor Board the committee who visited Dunedin with the object of purchasing the floating dock gave in their report, and after discussion it was decided to hold over the question of purchase till the next ordinary meeting, the owner to be telegraphed to in the interim asking him to say whether he would accept £450 for the dock delivered at the Bluff in good repair, with all machinery, &c. The s a Shag sailed for Hokitika yeiterday. The schooner Prince Rupert sailed for Wanganui yesterday with a full cargo of coal. The Union Company's steamer Mawhera leaves Dunedin for West Coast ports (calling at Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Nelson) this day, and ia due here on Tuesday, 18th inst. '. The Company's steamer Moa leaves Wanganui with stock for this port to-day instead of yesterday as previously notified. The a s Gerda sailed for Wellington and Lyttelton yesterday with a full cargo of coal.
