It appears' that he was working in a gravel pit when a quantity of clay and boulders fell, striking him about the ankle and breaking some of the small bones and putting the ankle out of place. He was taken to the^ hospital this morning. Dr Foot' has accepted the position of doctor for the Grey Valley Miners' Association.
