WRECK OF BARQUENTINE KITSAP.

Auckland, July 22. The Ada 0. Owen, from Karatonga, brings the officers and crew of the American barquentine Kitsap, totally wrecked at Palmerston Island on May 29. They were on the island a fortnight, till taken off by the Atlantic, and brought to Karatonga. The Kitsap was bound from Paget Sound to Melbourne with a cargo of timber, consigned tc J. Marshall. The vessel and cargo, so far as is known, is uninsured.
