POULTRY SHOW.
Wellington, July 22,
The Wellington poultry show was opened this afternoon by his Excellency the Governor, and is fairly successful.
Ohristchuach. July 22. The Hospital authorities haying remained firm in their refusal to receive, the inebriate was recaptured this morning. The difficulty has been temporarily got over by sending the man to Addington Gaol. The affair has caused some excitement here in consequence of there being no place suitable for the reception of such cases, the Gaol, Hospital, and Lunatic Asylum all declining to take them in.
