NATIVE MATTERS.
Honi Ropiha and the king natives resumed their interview with Mr Lewis (native under-secretaty) this morning, and brought forward several other grievances and mat' ers of business. Le vra, on behalf of the Native Minister, expressed gratification at the visib of Ropiha and his comrades, and their desire for the amity of the races, and said that the various questions brought forward would require and receive careful attention on the part of the Government. As to the grievances, he suggested that they should embody them in petitions to Parliament. The natives were satisfied with their reception, and the interview terminated.
