SECRETARY OF NEW ZEALAND EXHIBITION.
Wellington, March 4,
Mr Callis, secretary of the late Industrial Exhibition, has instituted proceedings against the Government for the recovery of £100 as overtime at 4s 9d per hour. The original claim was £12S ss, but the amount was reduced to £100 in order to bring it within the jurisdiction of the Court. The work for which Callis claims payment is in connection with the exhibition. The case was adjourned until Tuesday next.
