CASE OF STABBING.
Invercargill, January 6,
James Delaney and Jeremiah Ryan were drinking in the former's house at Georgetown last night, when a quarrel took place, during which Delaney stabbed Ryan in the neck. The wound is not dangerous, although within an eighth of an inch of the jugular artery. Delaney was arrested and brought up to-day and remanded, being admitted to bail.
