Gladstone announces, that the article published in yesterday's Pall Mall Gazette is without foundation. '■) He denies the existence of any such scheme as that attributed to himself by the writer of the article, and disavows any intention of acting in the manner indicated therein. Mr Gladstone takes the. opportunity of stating that announcements, in newspapers at present relative to the line of policy lie had. determined to adept are mere conjectures,, as lie has not yet made known his intentions to_anyone.
