BEACH AND MATTERSON.

Championship sculling match continued. Beach led from the start, and was never caught. It was evident from the outset that Matterson was overmatched. 'His Excellency Lord Carrington r followed the race and congratulated Beach upon his victory. The betting, was three to one on Beach. The official time for the race was 24min lOsecs. ; '
