AUSTRALIAN NEWS.
(Received December 10, at 1.30 p.m.) A PUBLIC FUNERAL FOR THE LATE GENERAL SCRATCHLEY. Melbourne, December 10. Government have decided to accord a public funeral to the remains of the late General Scratchley, and the ceremony is fixed for Wednesday next. It is expected that the representatives from the several Australian colonies will be present on the occasion.
