THE HOME ELECTIONS.
December 9. The returns for the general elections to hand up to the present time show that 324 Liberals, 246 .Conservatives, and 76 Parnellite candidates have secured seats. (Received December 10, at 7.45 pm.) The elections for England and Wales are now finished. The Liberals have secured 331 seats ; the Conservatives, 250 ; and the Parnellites 82. For South-east Durham, the Liberal candidate, Sir H. Havelock Allen, defeated Sir George Elliott. Two labor candidates have bean .elected, Mr Joseph Arch for North-west-Norfolk, and Mr Charles Fenwick for the Wansbeck division of Northumberland. The new Parliament meets on 12th January next.
