THE CENTRAL PRISON.
With reference to the remo'var of the central prison from its- present- 'site/ the "Premier has written to the Mayor elect stating that it-has' bjjen .decided to leave the question to thy ;<3oris.ideration- of the full Cabinet. In the meantime ifc tiaTbeen decided to delay the work now lieing carried onr in order that no large adarradnal expenditure might tie incurred until the question is: definitely'settled.
