The s.s Kennedy arrived on Saturday morhittif from Hokitika, took in coal, and sailed for northern ports in the evening. The s.s Maori and Manawatu arrived yesterday, the former from Wellington and the latter from Nelson and Wellington. The s.s Omapere was to leave Dunedin on Saturday for West Coast ports; callihg at Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Nelson. She is due here on Sunday, the 13th. The s.s Mahinapua left Wellington at six o'clock on Friday evening and will arrive here to-morrow. The s.s . Waipara should arrive here today for the purpose of connecting with the Mahinapua.
