AGRICULTURAL SHOW.
Dunedin, November 25. The first day's show of the A. and P. Society was very successful. The sheep, cattle, and piga only were judged. The horses come on the ground to-morrow. A special prize for fine combing merinos was taken by Watson Sherman for a ram, and John Johnston for a ewe. The executor of the late A. Master took both prizes for rams in Lincolns ; best ewe, John Read ; southdowns, best ram, John Deans ; shorthorns, best bull, Menlove ;, best,,cow Menlove ; for bull and cow, Ayrshire, A. J. M'Farlane ; for the most successful Alderney's best cow, M. Black ; cow, W Barron, M.H.R. ; dairy cow, champion bull, A. J. M'Farlane.
