Heads yesterday evening, Bhe experienced | a yery heavy north-west gaje, during : which she broke from her anchorage, . losing her anchors and Feventy fathoms of j£. ohain. The pilot and crew were on board | at the time, and when the cable parted | they attempted to get their boat, which i was alongside. While so engaged a I heavy sea struck the boat, completely .smashing it. The loss is estimated at I £100.
