Mr Syme, the Freethought lecturer, persisted with his Sunday entertainments and collecting money at the doors as usual. A man named Trottam sent last week a ; telegram reflecting on the credit of the *s Federal Bank to a friend, who circulated * : reports which caused a slight run on the Bank, which, however, was all over directly. Criminal proceedings have been instituted against Trottman.
