OSMAN DIGNA KILLED.
. • Cairo, October 8. Further details to hand with regard to the recent encounter between the Abyssinian forces, under Ras Alouah, and the Haddendowah Arabs, show that the Abyssinians gained a complete victory, carrying by assault a strongly entrenched position, and killing fully 3000 Arabs, amongst whom was Osman Digna, whose body was identified after the engagement. The Abyssinians lost a large number of men.
