THE AMERICAN CORVETTEENTERPRISE.

The American corvette Enterprise, which is now in Melbourne, and is expected to leave for Wellington next week, da a wooden vessel of 650 tons, provided with powerful steam engines, and barque-? rigged;.; From papers to hand :the following respecting her and her mission are available. : — She is returning to'the United States, after having served three years on the China atation. She :left Hong Kong on 20th July, and went to Sourabaya ; stayed there six days and left on, 16th August, proceedto Albany, where she .arrived on the 6th ult.
