BARQUE CINGALESE.
Timaru July 23. Arrived — Cingalese, barque, Captain Raddon, 104 days from London. About .five weeks ago a very heavy sea broke over her poop, throwing down the captain (who was at the wheel) and flooding the decks, nearly washing another man overboard. Captain Raddon's ankle was seriously injured, but was put in splints. On coming ashore it was found that the small bones were broken but they have been well 'set.
